LIFE TRANSITIONS – CAREER, MOVING ON, ETC.

Making amends, life waves many things your way to live a better life.

So many things are going on in our lives, all leading us in a better direction with love and joy for life. The change could be anticipated or unanticipated, chosen or unchosen, sudden or gradual, and short-term or long-term. The impact and degree also differ depending on various factors like contexts, an individual’s meaning-making and coping skills, or the 4 S’s: Situation, Support, Self, and strategies.

Life changes can take a considerable toll, both physically and mentally. Even when the transition is intentional, like a new job, a promotion, or the arrival of a baby, you are still in new territory with new expectations, rhythms, and routines. Adjusting can be confusing or draining, with the time-and-energy-consuming nature of learning new systems and department/office culture, reconfiguring and settling into your living space, and negotiating the needs of your body and those you live with.

As we dive into specific changes, a significant change occurs that affects our daily routine and is overwhelming. Such changes involve many changes, which bring light and happiness to life. But we’ve got to be mindful of all these things to actually make it so that it can be done relatively successfully. Some impacts of life transitions are that they can have a massive emotional and psychological toll and create a lot of anxiety.

Accepting change is the most important thing that we need to accept and start relying to it. Beacuse of this, there will be a roller coster of emotions and challenges which we need to endure and move ahead of it. You’ll see that this life transition is opening the door to new opportunities and possibilities. Even if the transition didn’t start out being a positive one.

As we seek towards the end, one thing that we need to care of is our mindset. You are only one that can care of your self. And do ask yourself this question “what is that one thing that you wanna do before you die?”
